properly cleaned and degreased. Then, remove any excess lubricant if oily lubricants have been
used.
In addition to constant tightening control, the dropper seatpost requires cleaning of dust and
debris, focusing attention on the sealing area and around the sliding tube after each use. Have
the internal components periodically inspected and lubricated, according to the manufacturer's
recommendations, by specialised operators, usually every 6 months.
The suspensions, requiring an in-depth knowledge of the components, as well as the use of
specific tools and lubricants, must be subjected to periodic inspections to verify their correct
functionality and efficiency by specialised operators. Check that the fork is properly tightened and
clean dirt and debris from the suspensions after each use. The fork and rear dumper should be
serviced according to the manufacturer's advises, typically every 50 hours or 6 months of use.
The bike frame must be inspected regularly to exclude the presence of any signs of cracking
and/or so-called "material fatigue" so that any intervention required to reduce and/or eliminate
the risk of damage and/or breakage can be promptly performed. Each part of the fastening
mechanisms on the bike should be carefully inspected and a preventive and periodic general
check performed of the correct tightening of the self-tightening nuts and fastening screws which
may lose their efficiency through use and over time.
CAUTION
After each ordinary and/or extraordinary maintenance intervention, it's mandatory to perform a
check on the perfect operation of all the controls.
Maintenance notes
Every maintenance job must take place with the battery disconnected.
During each maintenance phase operators must be equipped with the necessary accident
prevention equipment.
The tools used for maintenance must be suitable and good quality.
Do not use petrol or flammable solvents as cleaning agents but always use non-flammable and
non-toxic solvents.
Limit the use of compressed air as much as possible and protect yourself with goggles with side
shields. Never use naked flame as a means of lighting when carrying out checks or maintenance
work.
After each maintenance or adjustment job ensure that no tools or foreign bodies remain inside the
organs of movement of the assisted pedal bike.
Spare parts
Always use original spare parts and/or parts with the same technical specifications as the
components supplied with the product.
The use of non-original spare parts and/or non-compatible spare parts on the product, in addition
to excluding it from the scope of the warranty conditions, may lead to damage and cause the
product to malfunction or it may lead to accidents with serious consequences.
