Figure 8
Before feeding material into the shredder, check the
direction of the material outlet spout.
Material must be continuously fed into the shredder
and adequately to the feeding entry capacity, always
taking into consideration the machine and engine
set, paying close attention not to overload the
engine.
Note:
Feed the machine in bundles. Always place a
new bundle over the final part of the product
going into the machine, providing continuous
feeding and uniform cutting.
Foliage cutting length -5 mm or 10 mm (ES-500 /
ES-600) and 4 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm or 12 mm (ES-550 /
ES-650), - is determined by the position of the belt
in the pulley.
To replace the belt, follow the items described
below and shown in the pictures.

When activating the universal base lever (1),
check if the belts are tensioned and without any
interference by normally turning on the shredder
cutting set.
The belt stretcher lever can only be tensioned when
the engine is in full operation. If the engine is off,
tensioning it can cause damage to the engine and
difficulties to start the engine.
If when tensioning the belts you notice any
abnormality, turn off the engine and contact a
TRAPP Service Technician.
Attention!
Before switching off the animal ration
shredder, allow all products to exit the
machine so that it is completely empty.
Only then, switch it off.
With the machine off:
In order to change the cutting size, follow these
directions according to Figure 9:
Remove the 2 screws (A) and the belt protection (B).
Remove the 4 screws (C) that secure the transmission
box.
Loosen the stretching screw (D).
Change the belt to another channel, observing the
positions indicated in the figure.
