MIGACARD READER AND
WIRE ROOM PANEL
The LED will be switched on when the card is correctly
positioned and can be read by the machine. The
following symbol will be shown in the display if the
machine reads data from the card. The changing
sequence of numbers indicates that loading is
ongoing:
Please note that the loading can last from few
seconds to up to around 1 minute. The machine
automatically restarts if new machine software has
been loaded and is thereafter eady for use.
User settings are saved permantly in the internal
machine storage. However, this storage will be
overwritten by next loading of a MigaCARD. This
enables return to standard setting.
User settings can be saved at a MigaCARD if an
editable MigaCARD has been bought as special
equipment. The editable card must be loaded in the
machine, before user settings can be saved.
The panel contains the following functions:
Water cooling
The LED over the key pad will be switched on
when water cooling has been selected. Water cooling
continues 3 min. after welding has been completed.
Wire inching
The function has been used for wire inching
e.g. after change of wire. The wire feed speed can be
adjusted by pressing the key pad and simultaneously
turning the left control knob.
Gas test
The gas valve is opened, when the key pad is
pressed. Then gas will be filled in the hose before
welding.
INFORMATION SYMBOLS
Welding voltage indicator
The welding voltage indicator is shown in the
display as a precaution when there is voltage on the
electrode or the torch.
FAULT SYMBOLS
The icon will be replaced by fault symbols when faults
arise which can be solved immediately.
The icon will remain switched on for 5 sec. after the
fault has been corrected.
Torch cooling fault:
Cooling fault is shown in case of no circulation
of the cooling liquid due to faulty connection or
choking.
Make sure that the cooling unit has been mounted
correctly, refill the water tank and check welding
hose and branches.
Gas fault (option):
This icon can only be shown in case a gas
adjustment kit has been mounted. Gas fault is due to a
to low or high pressure on the gas flow
Make sure that the pressure on the gas flow is higher
than 2 bar and less than 6 bar, corresponding to 5
l/min and 27 l/min.
The fault is disconnected at 5 l/min. and 27 l/min.
Temperature fault:
The overheating icon will be shown if welding
is interrupted due to overheating of the power
source.
Make sure that the machine remains switched on
until the fans have cooled it down.
Mains supply fault:
The icon will be shown, when the mains
voltage is to high.
Make sure that the machine is connected to 400V ac,
+/-15% 50-60Hz.
Wire feed fault:
The icon will be shown, if the wire feed motor
is overloaded.
The wire feed motor may be defective.
Current fault:
The icon will be shown, when the start AMP or
the welding current to high.
Make sure that the correct welding program and wire
dimension has been selected.
MigaCARD fault:
Defective
MigaCARDs
arisen during loading are indicated
by the mentioned symbol in an empty display:
The problem can be solved by reloading the delivered
MigaCARD or by replacing the defective card.
