Operation
Selecting the operating
mode
Notes
• Operate the device only with a moun-
ted auxiliary handle (16). Hold the im-
plement with both hands by the handle
(9) and auxiliary handle (16) while
working.
• Use clamps or another practical
way to secure and support the
workpiece to a stable platform.
Holding the workpiece by your hand or
against the body leaves it unstable and
may lead to loss of control.
• Only operate the function selector
switch when the tool has stopped.

Adjusting the chisel position
1. Set the function selection switch (5) to
the
symbol.
2. Turn the attachment tool in the SDS-
Plus tool holder (1) to the required pos-
ition.
3. Use the function selection switch (5) to
select the
symbol for the chisel oper-
ation.
Adjusting the speed
The speed can be adjusted while the
device is in operation. Set the speed con-
trol (11) to the desired level.

Switching on and off
 WARNING! Risk of injury due to un-
intentional continuous operation of the
tool. Before plugging in the connector,
check that the on/off switch (8) works
properly and returns to the off position
when released.
Switching on
1. Insert the plug in the socket.
2. Press and hold the On/off switch (8).
Switching off
1. To turn it off, release the on/off switch
(8).
2. Wait until the power tool has stopped
before placing it down.
3. Pull the device plug out of the wall out-
let if you are leaving the device unat-
tended or if you have finished working.
Transport
Information on transporting the device:
• Switch off the device and disconnect
the mains plug from the outlet. Make
sure that all moving parts have come to
a complete stop.
• Remove the attachment tool.
• Always carry the device by the handle
(9).
