GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE COMPRESSOR
Attention! To protect against electric shock, injury and fire, the following
basic safety precautions must be followed when using this compressor. Read
and follow these instructions before using the tool.
1.
Keep your work area in good order
Disorder in the work area can lead to accidents.
2.
Consider work area environment
Do not expose the compressor to rain.
Do not use the compressor in damp or wet environment.
Keep the work area well lit.
Do not use the compressor where there is risk of fire or explosion.
3.
Protect yourself against electric shock
Avoid body contact with earthed parts (e. g. pipes, radiators, electric cookers,
refrigerators).
4.
Keep other persons away
Do not let other persons, especially children; touch the compressor or the cable.
Keep them away from your work area.
5.
Store your unused compressor in a safe place
The unused compressor should be stored in a dry, high or locked place, out of reach
of children.
6.
Do not overload your compressor
You will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was intended.
7.
Use the right compressor
Do not use low-power machines for heavy-duty work.
Do not use the power tool for purposes for which it is not intended.
8.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery that can be caught by
moving parts
Non-slip footwear is recommended when working outdoors.
Wear protective hair covering for long hair.
9.
Use protective equipment
Wear protective goggles.
Use a dust mask for dusty operations.
10. Do not use the cable for purposes for which it is not intended
Do not use the cable to pull the plug out of the socket.
11. Avoid abnormal body posture
Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
12. Maintain your compressor with care
Follow the instructions for lubrication.
Regularly check the connection cable of the compressor and, if damaged, have it
repaired by a qualified repair person.
Regularly check extension cables and, if damaged, replace them.
13. Pull the plug out of the socket
When the compressor is not in use, before servicing and maintenance such as
cleaning the intake filter.
