Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water etc. ! These
EN
solvents can damage plastic parts.
Condensate
The condensate should be drained daily by opening the drain valve (at the bottom of
the pressure tank).
To do so, slowly and carefully unscrew (no more than four threads) the Tank Drain Valve
until the compressed air and condensation begins to be released from the Tanks. Allow
sufficient time for all of the air and condensation to escape from the Tanks. Then, firmly
re-tighten the Drain Valve.
Safety valve
The safety valve is set to the maximum allowable pressure of the pressure tank.
It is not permitted to adjust the safety valve or remove its seal.
Cleaning of intake filter
The copper filter protects against penetration of foreign bodies and dust.
It is necessary to clean or replace this filter if the performance drops or no later
than after 100 operating hours.
Minor dust deposits can be cleaned with a brush or an air gun.
If there is a lot of dirt, soak the filter in petrol for three minutes and clean it
carefully. Then blow it dry.
Attention! Wait until the compressor is completely cooled! There is a risk of
burns!
Pressure switch setting
The pressure switch is factory-set.
Switch-on pressure is approx. 8 bar. Switch-off pressure is 10 bar.
POSSIBLE CAUSES OF FAILURE
The following leads to an overload of the motor and thus to the overload protection
response:
the mains voltage is too high
ambient temperatures are too high and the air supply is insufficient
compressor valves are defective or the check valve is leaking
the fan belt is slipping
Switch the air compressor on again after the cooling period.
Avoid contact with hot compressor parts and pipes.
