Generating Diagnostic Logs Locally
Procedure:
Press and hold the Volume Up button and Volume Down button until Creating Logs
displays on the screen.
If the logs package request is successful, your radio shows the following indications:
The voice announcement sounds.
The display shows Logs Created
The Diagnostics Log Status icon
The Log Info screen shows Available.

Wiping Device Locally
Procedure:
1 To enter Maintenance mode, press and hold the PTT, Power button and Talkgroup Scroll
Rocker (CH-) simultaneously.
2 After Maintenance appears on the screen, press and hold the Volume Down and Menu/
Programmable button simultaneously until Radio Wipe appears on the screen.
Your radio reboots and deletes the user-configurable persistent settings. Activation Code must be
manually regenerated through the WAVE PTX Portal.

Types of Service Codes or Failure
The following sections show the problems, failure messages, or service codes shown on your radio
and the self troubleshooting steps that you can perform. If the issues persist, capture the logs
manually, and contact authorized Motorola Solutions dealer to pull the logs remotely.
2.5.1
No Connection to the Cellular Network
Indications
The radio display shows No Connection
The radio status bar shows the following
icons:

Cellular Network Not Connected.
-
Cellular Network Unavailable.
-
Invalid SIM Card

appears in the status bar.
Resolutions
Verify the antenna is attached properly.
On the WAVE PTX Portal, verify the CELL
PLAN column shows Activated.
NOTE: Only applies to radios with
a built-in SIM card.
Verify the SIM Card is inserted correctly.
