Cash Register Programming
This cash register can be programmed to tailor its features
according to your specific needs. Among the number of
features that can be programmed you can:

Select the language that you want to print and display in
•
Activate the Clerk Security System and define three digit
secret codes for each of the 8 programmable clerks
•
Define clerk names
•
Set the date and time
•
Personalize customer receipt headers
•
Set percent discount (-%) rates
•
Define fraction rounding for VAT calculation
•
Define up to four VAT rates
•
Define the VAT calculations that you wish to print on the
sales receipt
•
Define Price Look-Ups (PLUs) for individual items and
enter an item description
•
Define tax status, Single/Multiple item sale and relative
price to a determined defined department
•
Define a name for each department
•
Define a foreign currency descriptor
•
Activate or deactivate the Electronic Journal memory
•
Activate or deactivate Electronic Journal full or nearly full
acoustic indications
•
Define character sizes and line spacings for printing
customer receipts and reports
•
Define a manager password for the Z mode
•
Program the different system options available.
All program settings will reside in the cash register's memory
until you change them or deactivate the battery back-up
system.
This guide just provides the necessary programming to get
you started. More detailed information is provided in the
Reference Guide.
Programming System Options
Your cash register's system options programming feature
includes 32 options for the operation of the cash register.
Each of the functions described in this section is already set
upon delivery of the cash register to meet the most frequent
requirements. The cash register's factory default settings,
which you can reprogram at any time, are indicated in bold
print in the table below.
