Louis Breguet, descendant of our founder,
was one of the great pioneers of aircraft
design, and the Breguet watch-making
firm supplied aeronautical instruments
to pilots as early as 1918. Over the years
our firm became established as the ref-
erence in pilot's watches, whether worn
on the wrist or set into an instrument

YPE RANSATLANTIQUE
function is dedicated to a great moment
in the history of air transport. On
September 1st 1930, Costes and Bellonte
touched down at Curtiss Field, Long
Island, having achieved the first non-
stop Paris -New York flight. Their time
was thirty-seven hours and fourteen
minutes... on board the Breguet 19
"Point d'interrogation". This victory
confirmed Louis Breguet's research into
a aircraft's field of action, and was a
decisive stimulus to the development of
international air transport.
