ACTION
Fill f uel t ank withproperly mixed fuel
Place blue choke lever i nposition 3 ,squeeze thetrigger and
pull t hestarter r ope
Replace orclean thespark plug
Place blue choke lever i nposition 3 ,pull t hestarter r ope upto
10-15 t imes
ACTION
Replace orclean theairfilter
Adjust according tothe
Carburetor Adjustments section or take
to an authorized service dealer for an adjustment
ACTION
Drain gas tank and add fresh fuel mixture
Stop the engine and clean the cutting attachment
Clean or replace spark arrestor
CAUSE
Old or improperly mixed fuel
Fouled spark plug
CAUSE
Cutting attachment bound with grass
Inner reel bound up
Line welded
Not enough line is exposed
ACTION
Drain gas tank and add fresh fuel mixture
Replace or clean the spark plug
ACTION
Stop the engine and clean cutting attachment
Replace the inner reel
Disassemble, remove the welded section and rewind
Push the bump knob and pull out line until 4 inches (102 mm) of
line is outside of the cutting attachment
CAUSE
Oil, cleaner or lubricant in cutting head
If further assistance is required, contact your authorized service dealer.
ACTION
Clean and thoroughly dry the cutting head
