Improper work to remedy faults

▷ For any work performed to remedy faults, observe the relevant information
given in this operating manual and/or in the product literature provided by the
accessories manufacturer.
If problems occur that are not described in the following table, consultation with the
SFA service is required.
A Pump is running, but does not deliver
B Pump delivers insufficient flow rate
C Excessive current/power input
D Insufficient discharge head
E Vibrations and noise during pump operation

Remedy
Re-adjust to duty point.
Fully open the gate valve.
Check the pump's operating data.
Vent by lifting the pump off the duckfoot bend
and lowering it again.
Clean the intake, pump components and lift
check valve.
Remove deposits in the pump and/or piping.
Check that the impeller can rotate freely.
Clean the impeller if necessary.
Replace worn parts by new ones.
Replace defective risers,
Fit new sealing elements.
Contact the manufacturer.
Contact the manufacturer.
Check the electrical connection of motor and
control system (if any).
Check the power cable.
Check the cable connections.
Check the voltage in the control cabinet.
Contact the energy supplier.
Replace by new original SFAparts or contact the
manufacturer.

The motor will restart automatically once it has
