SELECT THE FUNCTION

PREPARING ESPRESSO

a. Turn Rotary Dial to select Single Espresso " " (figure a) and press center button START/STOP
"INICIAR/DETENER" to brew a single shot of espresso. The rotary dial indicator light will illuminate.
It will start blinking; indicating that a single shot of espresso is brewing.
b. Turn Rotary Dial to select Double Espresso "
"INICIAR/DETENER" to brew a double shot or two single shots of espresso. The rotary dial indicator
light will illuminate. It will start blinking; indicating that a single shot of espresso is brewing. For both
Automatic Espresso functions, the unit will start brewing the espresso according to your selection.
The unit will stop automatically after the brewing process and the light will blink and then shut off,
indicating that the cycle has been completed. Your delicious espresso is ready to be enjoyed!
NOTE: If you would like to brew less coffee than the preset serving, press the center button
"INICIAR/DETENER" at any time during the brewing process to stop when the desired amount of
coffee is reached.

PREPARING OriginalLine NESPRESSO
After you have read the section, "USING THE PORTA-FILTER FOR OriginalLine NESPRESSO
CAPSULES" on page 8, please read the following steps:
a. Turn Rotary Dial to select single shot of OriginalLine Nespresso
center button START/STOP "INICIAR/DETENER" to brew a single shot of espresso. The rotary dial
indicator light will illuminate. It will start blinking; indicating that a single shot of espresso is brewing.
b. After brewing, discard any water that remains on top of the filter for OriginalLine Nespresso
capsule. Be careful when discarding water, as portafiter may still be hot.
c. Let the porta-filter for OriginalLine Nespresso
PREPARING CAPPUCCINO
Prior to preparing your cappuccino, adjust the level of frothed milk according to your preference by
turning the Froth Control Knob to the right for more foam (cappuccino) and to the left for less foam (latte).
NOTE: The level of foam can also be adjusted during the brewing cycle.
a. Turn Rotary Dial to select Small Cappuccino " " and press center button START/STOP "INICIAR/
DETENER" to brew a small cup of cappuccino. The rotary dial indicator light will illuminate. It will
start blinking; indicating that a small cup of cappuccino is brewing.
b. Turn Rotary Dial to select Large Cappuccino "
"INICIAR/DETENER" to brew a large cup of cappuccino. The rotary dial indicator light will
illuminate. It will start blinking; indicating that a large cup of cappuccino is brewing.
CAUTION: Be careful when removing the porta-filter to discard the used coffee grounds, since it may be
hot, and might have a thin layer of hot liquid in its top surface.
