After this procedure, take the cursor to the shortcut
menu: <Esc><Del><End>. To do this, hold button ↓
pressed until the cursor is on the "E" in <Esc>. To
confirm the name, select <End> by means of the ↑
button and press the
Proceed in a similar way to enter the calling
code (from "1" to "JJJJ") and the door open code
associated to the name (numeric only, from 1 to
99999999):

Select <Del> to correct mistakes. The last entered
character will be deleted. Select <Esc> on the
other hand to quit the procedure without saving the
entered data.
NOTE 1: An error message will appear if the name

Deleting/editing a name
Select either <CANC> or <EDIT> from the name
management menu. The following will appear:
FIND NAME
WITH ↑ OR ↓
Use ↑ or ↓ to scroll the names and reach the one
to be deleted/edited. Press the
delete (a confirmation message will appear) or edit
the item (the editing procedure is described in the
specific paragraph above).
NOTE 1: A door opener code associated to a name
will be deleted automatically along with
the name.

CLEARING THE DIRECTORY
In some cases, you may need to clear all the
names from the calling module with directory (e.g.
to re-install a device in another building).
This procedure can be carried out either from the
terminal or the keypad.
Via the terminal
− After establishing a logical connection with the
required calling module (see "PROGRAMMING VIA
TERMINAL 1038/55-/56"), go to the following page:
