orientation to the transfer lid to ensure the proper
inoculation of the corresponding MicroScan panel.
See the panel procedural manual for more
information.

NOTE
For use with Mueller-Hinton broth with lysed horse

8.
Pick up the RENOK with the transfer lid attached, holding
it level (shaking or rocking can cause spillage), then
position the transfer lid onto a MicroScan panel.
NOTE
If inoculating from a Partitioned Seed Trough, ensure
that the RENOK and transfer lid are positioned on the
MicroScan panel to dispense inoculum according to
the appropriate panel procedural manual.
9.
Depress the center release button of the RENOK to
inoculate panel. There should be a smooth, even release
of the inoculum without hesitation or sticking.
10.
Dispose of the used transfer lid by positioning the
RENOK, with the transfer lid attached, over a biohazard
waste container.
Depress the pick-up levers using thumb and fingers to
release the transfer lid from the RENOK.
You can also dispose of the seed trough at this time, or
you can release the transfer lid onto the seed trough and
dispose of the transfer lid and seed trough
simultaneously.
