STARTING THE ENGINE
NOTE: For all information regarding the engine, check the engine's Use and Maintenance manual.
ATTENTION: Oiling the air filter - The new machine comes with the air filter without oil included.
Before using it, it will only be necessary to fill it with engine oil up to the indicated level.
MANUAL STARTING
COLD START:
•
Open the fuel supply.
•
Select the ON option on the switch (5)
•
Place the air intake in the closed position (right).
•
Move the throttle (1) 1/4 of its stroke counterclockwise.
•
Pull the manual starter gently until you feel resistance from the motor, from this point pull energetically until it is
running (repeat this operation if necessary).
•
When the engine is running, move the air intake to the open position (left).
HOT START:
•
Open the fuel supply.
•
Select the ON option on the switch (5)
•
Move the air inlet to the open position (left).
•
Pull the manual starter gently until you feel resistance from the motor, from this point pull energetically until it is
running (repeat this operation if necessary).
ENGINE STOP
•
Using the accelerator (1) bring the engine to the minimum number of revolutions.
•
Select the OFF option on the switch (5).
•
Close the fuel valve.
SECURITY DEVICE
To guarantee maximum safety of the operator, the machine is equipped with the following safety device:
-
Reverse gear cam control; when releasing the cam, the reverse gear is disconnected automatically.
ATTENTION: Never use the machine if the safety device does not work perfectly as it could get
damaged.
