Installing with Base Using Lap/Shoulder Belts
4. While holding the Base with one hand,
push button on Belt Tensioner Handle
without using your thumb and pull open.
5. Route both vehicle belts through Belt
Path Opening, under SafeLock along
Belt Path, and through other Belt Path
Opening. BUCKLE THE BELT. Make
sure the belts lie flat and are not twisted.
The vehicle belt should ALWAYS be
routed UNDER the SafeLock Belt
Tensioner. NEVER place a vehicle belt
over the SafeLock Belt Tensioner, even
in a vehicle with longer Buckle Stalks.
NOTE: Make sure that vehicle belt
buckle and hardware do not interfere
with correct installation of the Base or
with the connection of the Infant Car
Seat to the Base.
