• The FAA recommends that children up to 18 kg (40 lbs) use a certified,
harnessed child seat while traveling on an airplane. The ATON G is
certified for aircraft use if used WITHOUT the Base.
• ALWAYS have the Handle in a LOCKED position while using this Child
Restraint in an aircraft (see pg. 27).
• DO NOT use the Convenience Base when installing Child Restraint in aircraft.
Remember to gate check your Base or check it in as luggage if you plan to use it at your
destination and ALWAYS inspect for damage before use.
1. Ensure that the aircraft seat is in a fully
upright position.
2. Position Infant Car Seat REAR-FACING
in aircraft seat with the foot end firmly
against the back of the aircraft seat.
IMPORTANT: Install your Infant Car Seat
in a window seat to avoid blocking the
aisle.
3. Route Lap Belt through both Lap Belt
Guides and BUCKLE THE BELT.
