5. Installation, Folding and Storage
5.1 LOCATION
Select a location for the machine that meets the following requirements:
• Dry indoor area.
Machine does not block ventilation openings.
•
Heat-resistant, sturdy base; use a floor pad if necessary.
•
• Clearance of at least 2 m behind the machine.
Clearance of at least 1 m on each side of the machine.
•
Clearance of at least 30 cm in front of the machine.
•
5.2 UNFOLDING
To unfold, proceed as follows:
• Stand safely in front of the folded machine.
Hold the rear end of the base unit with both hands.

Gently push the locking spring forward with the toe of one foot. → The locking mechanism is

released.
• Gently lower the base unit until it touches the ground.
5.3 FOLDING AND STORAGE
The machine can be folded when not in use. Follow these steps:
Carefully unplug the power cord from the power outlet.

Using both hands, lift the rear end of the base unit upwards until the locking spring A holds the base
•
unit securely at the top.
Check that the base unit is securely locked in this position.
