Checking the Battery
1) Open the lens cover (this turns the power
on) by sliding the lens cover open/close
switch in the direction shown, and the lens
moves out to the ready position.
2) Set the shooting mode switch to Flash-ON
( $ ) and press the shutter button com-
pletely to fire the flash.
3) Remove your finger only from the shutter
button, and wait for six seconds.
4) Then press the shutter button again and
the battery power is suficient if the flash
fires.
