Running-in
Running-in is essential to ensure the durability of the vehicle.
During the first 1000 Km (621.37 mi), observe the following rules to ensure the reliability and performance of the vehicle
throughout its lifetime:
1. Avoid full throttle starts and hard acceleration.
•
During the first 500 km: Less than
•
Up to 1000 km : Less than
2. Avoid hard or prolonged braking.
3. Do not ride for prolonged periods at sustained high speed; preferably ride the scooter on varied routes with frequent, gentle
acceleration and deceleration.
4. Ride prudently to become familiar with the scooter, try gradually to open the higher throttle only as you gain confidence.
CAUTION
The full performance of the vehicle is only available after the servicing at the end of running-in period. Follow these
guidelines:
•
Do not twist the throttle grip abruptly and completely when the engine is working at low revs, either during or after running-in.
•
During the first 100 Km (62 miles) use the brakes gently, avoiding sudden or prolonged braking. This is to allow the adequate
adjustment of the pad friction material to the brake discs.
