MAINTENANCE
Engine stop
•
Turn the knob (3) on the smart key lock to the " OFF " state.
•
When using the mechanical lock, remember to remove the ignition key.
Engine oil
Checking the oil level
CAUTION
Checking the oil while the engine is cold will lead to a wrong
measurement and therefore the wrong oil quantity.
In order to avoid engine damage, never exceed the maximum oil level
nor let it drop below the minimum level.
NOTE
Make sure that the scooter during oil level checks stands level in all
respects. Even the slightest inclination towards the side will produce
measurement mistakes.
•
Stop the warmed-up engine, wait for approx. 5 minutes and hold the
scooter up-right.
•
Propping up the scooter with the central stand.
•
Stop the engine and remove the oil filler cap (1) on the lower right of the
crankcase.
•
Clean the oil filler cap at the MIN-MAX area with a clean rag.
