15 Installation
Setting up the appliance
Install the appliance in a well-ventilated and dry room.
Air circulation affects the energy consumption and performance of the appliance. To ventilate
the appliance, observe the minimum ventilation cross-sections, see the information in the
"Installation" chapter.
IMPORTANT
Install the appliance in a stable manner.
The mains power cable must never be pinched or covered. A damaged mains supply
cable may only be replaced by Technical Service.
The mains power cable must not reach a temperature exceeding the room
temperature by 50 °C at any point.
If a built-in oven or any other heat-producing appliance is placed directly under the
glass ceramic hob, both appliances (oven and glass ceramic hob) must be suitably
insulated. The temperature generated by the oven, measured at the rear right of the
hob, must not exceed 60 °C. Failure to observe this precaution could lead to
malfunction of the electronics.
