1. Select a PR channel that is broadcasting teletext information.
2. Press QS© (TV/TEXT/MIX) button repeatedly to engage TEXT mode
or MIX mode.
The mode changes cyclically in the following order.
i TV mode —» TEXT mode (TEXT only) —» MIX mode (TV and TEXT) 7]

3. Select a page you wish to view.
To select a page by scanning:
Press
(PR channel up/down) button.
A: scans forward to a page or item.
Vv : scans backward to a page or item.
To select a page directly:
Enter a 3-digit page number using numeric buttons.
To select a page with COLOUR button:
Press COLOUR button corresponding to the page number or item displayed at
the bottom of the screen.
TELETEXT FUNCTIONS
Display cancel
You can view a normal TV programme
while scanning for a teletext page you
wish to view.
1. Select the page you want to
view.
Scanning starts.
2. Press
& (Display cancel)
button.
Your TV enters TV mode.
3. Press
(TV/TEXT/MIX)
button when the page
number you wish to view
appears in the upper left of
the screen.
Page hold
You can hold a page temporarily even
as the teletext transmission continues.
To do this, press ©, (Hold) button.
Pressing @, (Hold) button or £2,
(Index) button, or selecting another
teletext page will release the hold
mode.
Hidden information
reveal
Some teletext pages contain hidden
information such as answers to
questions. You can reveal the hidden
information with this function.
To alternate reveal and hide, press
&
(Reveal) button.
Index return
You can easily return to the index page
by pressing £2, (Index) button.
Fastext/WST: Returns to the teletext
page on page 100 ora
page which has been
specified in teletext
page.
TOP:
The mode shifts to the
direct select mode.
1. Press RED or BLUE
COLOUR button to
place the cursor on
the title.
2. Press GREEN
COLOUR button to
view the information
on the selected title.
LIST mode:
Returns to the page of
the page number
displayed in red in the
lower left area of the
screen.
Calling up a stored
page (LIST mode)
If you store the number of Teletext
pages you often view to memory in the
LIST mode, you can quickly call up the
desired Teletext page whenever you
like.

¢ You can store up to four Teletext page
numbers to each of PR channels PRO1 to
PR15.
You can store up to four Teletext page
numbers to other PR channels as
common page numbers regardless of the
PR channel number.
