Multi sound
You can select the sound system for
stereo broadcast programmes and
bilingual programmes. To do this,
press @I/I (Multi sound) button
repeatedly to select the desired sound
system.

Colour system
The colour system is automatically
selected. If the picture is not clear, you
can change it manually. To do this,
press 2S
(Colour system) button
repeatedly. The system changes
cyclically in the following order.
When in TV mode:

When in EXT mode:
AUTO —> PAL —»> SECAM

You can enjoy a wider viewing screen
by changing the aspect ratio from
standard (4:3) to view panoramic
pictures (16:9). To do this, press
2&2, (16:9) button to alternate the
aspect ratios.

You can temporarily adjust the picture
and sounds as you like.
1. Press (@/>) (Picture/sound)
button.

button once more, the Tone
adjustment menu for adjusting the
tone of each speaker appears. For
details, see page 20 "To adjust the
tone of the front or centre speakers." If
you press
(Picture/sound)
button two more times, the menu
disappears.

* When enjoying surround sound by the
PRO LOGIC 3D-PHONIC function, the
PRO LOGIC 3D-PHONIC menu for
changing the PRO LOGIC 3D-
PHONIC mode and effect level
appears.

PRO LOGIC 3D-PHONIC mode and
adjust the effect level." If you press
(Picture/sound) button again,
the menu disappears.

Use this setting when playing TV

STANDARD (Standard mode):
Use this setting for regular viewing.

Use this setting to set your own
personal Picture/sound setting. To do
this, select USER and adjust the
setting using Temporary picture/
sound adjustment (on the previous
page).
