TELETEXT FUNCTIONS
To call up a stored page:
1. Press 4
(Mode) button to
engage the LIST mode.
The letter "L" indicating the LIST
mode and stored* page numbers
are displayed at the bottom of the
screen.
2. Press COLOUR button of the
same colour as the colour of
the number of the Teletext
page you want to view.
* To release the LIST mode, press
E14 (Mode) button again.
Note: .........00ccccceeee
¢ For manufacturing reasons, page
numbers are stored before shipment
from the factory.
To store a desired Teletext page, see
the next section "To change a stored
page number."

To change a stored page
number:
1. Select a PR channel that is
broadcasting a Teletext
programme.
2. Press <4 (Mode) button to
engage the LIST mode.
The letter "L" indicating the LIST
mode and stored page numbers
are displayed at the bottom of the
screen.
Select the desired page
number, and press COLOUR
button of the same colour as
the colour of that page
number.

Enter the number of the
Teletext page you want to
store in three digits using the
numeric buttons.
If you want to change another
page number, repeat steps 3.
and 4.
Press _2,(Store) button until
the displayed page number
momentarily changes to
white.
This compietes storing of the
Teletext page.
Sub-teletext page
display
Some teletext pages have sub-pages,
which scroll automatically. You can
store those pages in memory to view
later on.

Select a teletext page with
sub-pages.
Press © (Sub page) button.
"T * x» x »" is displayed at the top
right of the screen.
Enter the sub-page number.
Example:

The page number displayed at the
bottom of the screen is followed by
"+", indicating that you are viewing
a sub-page.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Cannot tum TV ON
Press () (Main power) button.
Insert the power plug in an AC outlet.
No picture or sound
Press GS (TV/EXT) button to engage the correct mode.
Check the aerial connections.
inoperable remote control
Replace the batteries.
The power shuts OFF automatically

Press ©, (Standby) button to tum the TV ON again.
Disconnect the headphones.
Set "*@ MODE" (Speaker mode) to ON (See page 22).
No sound from headphones
Set "*@MODE" (Speaker mode) to ON (See page 22).
No sound with stereo broadcast
Press 21% (Multi sound) button to select CD (stereo
sound).
No sound for Sub-I or Sub-II for
programmes broadcast with dual
sound
Press @U% (Multi sound) button to select the appropriate
mode.
No sound from external speakers
Turn your audio amplifiers ON, and set your audio
Surround function does not function

Adjust the COLOUR and BRIGHTNESS controls.

Press 28% (Cinema/game) button to select STANDARD

Move the aerial away from the source of interference.
