Never reach over the circular saw or behind the circular saw to pull or support the workpiece. This may result in accidental
contact with the circular saw, or rejection may pull fi ngers in the circular saw.
Never hold or press on the workpiece which is cut by the rotating circular saw. Pressing on the workpiece that is cut by a
circular saw can cause entrapment and rejection.
Align the guide so that it is parallel to the circular saw. The guide's misalignment will cause clamping of the workpiece in the
circular saw and result in rejection.
Use a featherboard to guide the workpiece in relation to the table and the guide when performing incomplete cuts such
as notching, milling or sawing off . The featherboard helps to control the workpiece in case of rejection.
Take special care when cutting hidden from sight areas of assembled workpieces. A protruding circular saw may cut through
objects that may cause a rejection.
Support large panels to minimise the risk of circular saw clamping and rejection. Large panels tend to fall under their weight.
The support(s) should be placed under all parts of the panel hanging behind the tabletop.
Take special care when cutting a twisted, tangled, warped workpiece or one that has no straight edge to guide it with the
bevel indicator or along the guide. A twisted, tangled, or warped workpiece is unstable and causes misalignment of the cut with
the circular saw, entrapment, and rejection.
Never cut more than one workpiece placed vertically or horizontally. The circular saw could lift at least one of them and
cause rejection.
When the saw is again switched on when the circular saw is in the workpiece, centre the circular saw in the notch so
that the saw teeth are not coupled with the material. If the circular saw is entrapped in the workpiece, it may lift it and cause
rejection when switching the saw again.
Keep circular saws clean, sharpened, and with the required set. Never use twisted circular saws or saws with bent or
broken teeth. Sharp circular saws with required set minimise risk of entrapment, blockage, and rejection.
Warnings concerning the table saw operation
Switch off the table saw and disconnect the power cord when removing the table insert, replacing the circular saw or
adjusting the splitting wedge or its guard and also when the machine is left unattended. Preventive measures allow for
avoiding accidents;
Never leave the operating table saw unattended. Switch off the tool, and do not leave it until the machine has completely
stopped. An unattended operating saw poses an uncontrolled risk.
Position the table saw in a well-lit and horizontal place in which you can maintain leg support and balance. It is rec-
ommended to install it in a place providing a large area to handle the workpiece's size easily. A cramped, dark room and
uneven, slippery fl oors are the cause of accidents.
Frequently clean and remove sawdust from under the table saw or a dust collector. Accumulated sawdust is fl ammable,
and it may auto-ignite.
The table saw should be securely fastened. A table saw that is inadequately fastened may move or fall.
Remove tools, wood chips etc. from the table before switching the circular saw on. Distraction or potential entrapment may
be dangerous.
Always use circular saws of correct sizes and proper shapes of mounting openings (rhombus instead of the round
shape). Circular saws that do not fi t into the saw's clamping fi xture will work asymmetrically, causing a loss of control.
Never use damaged or incorrect circular saw fi xing measures such as fl anges, circular saws washers, screws, or nuts.
These fi xing measures have been specially designed for the saw to ensure safe work and optimal operation.
Never stand on a table saw and do not use it as a stool. If the tool is tilted or any bodily part accidentally comes into contact
with the cutting tool, serious injuries could occur.
Make sure that the circular saw is installed in such a way as it can rotate in the correct direction. Do not use grinding
wheels, wire brushes, or grinding discs on the table saw. Incorrect installation of the circular saw, or the use of equipment that
is not recommended can cause serious injuries.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Wear personal protective equipment during work. Hearing protection which reduces the risk of hearing loss. Eye protection. Upper
respiratory tract protection which reduces the risk of absorbing harmful dust.
Use a helmet and a protective apron.
Wear protective gloves only during preparatory activities related to the handling of the cutting disc, fi xing the workpiece and
transporting the tool. Do not use protective gloves when manually guiding the workpiece. The circular saw can catch gloves which
can lead to serious injuries.
The class I protection electrical device must always be connected through an electrical system equipped with a residual current
device (RCD) with a tripping current not exceeding 30 mA.
Never use the machine without all the safety guards installed correctly.
Only discs recommended by the manufacturer should be used: discs for cutting wood and wood-based materials with teeth made
of carbide meeting the requirements of the EN 847-1 standard with the parameters specifi ed in the technical data table. Make sure
that the speed indicated on the disc is greater than or equal to the speed indicated on the tool.
