Charging Procedure

The IMPRES 2 adaptive charger system is a fully automated battery care system.
NOTE: To ensure optimized charging performance, turn off the radio while charging unless the radio is
transmitting data wirelessly on Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
Procedure:
1. Plug the charger end of the power supply cord into the power receptacle located at the side of the
charger.
2. Plug the wall receptacle end of the power supply cord into the appropriate AC outlet.
A successful power-up sequence is indicated by a single green blink on the charger indicator.
3. Insert a radio with an IMPRES 2 battery or a stand-alone IMPRES 2 battery into the charger pocket.
a. Align the radio or battery contacts with the contacts in the charger pocket.
b. Press the radio or battery into the pocket to ensure complete contact between charger and radio
or battery contacts.
