CROSS OVER in SUBWOOFER SET is
set incorrectly.
One of the night listening modes is
currently selected.
TruBass is currently turned on.
The volume level of the subwoofer is too
high.
The listening room is not a regular shape.
There is no wall in the path of the sound
beam.
The connected component is not set to
output Dolby Digital or DTS digital
signals.
The input mode is set to ANALOG.
The protection circuitry was in operation
because a source with strong bass
elements was played back.
CROSS OVER in SUBWOOFER SET is
set incorrectly.
The VIDEO OUT (composite) jack of
this unit is not connected to the video
input jacks of your TV.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Remedy
Set CROSS OVER correctly.
Turn off the night listening modes.
Turn off TruBass.
Turn down the volume level of the
subwoofer.
Install this unit in a square or rectangular
shaped room.
Try placing a flat object, such as a board,
in the path of the sound beam.
Make an appropriate setting following
the operating instructions for your
component.
Set the input mode to AUTO.
Turn down the volume level.
Select SWFR for BASS OUT.
Connect a subwoofer and adjust settings
for SUBWOOFER SET.
Set CROSS OVER correctly.
Connect the VIDEO OUT (composite)
jack of this unit to the video input jacks
of your TV. The OSD is not output at the
COMPONENT VIDEO OUT jacks.
Connect the cable properly.
Connect the cable properly.
Disconnect the AC power supply cable
from the outlet and then plug it in again
after about 30 seconds.
Move this unit further away from such
equipment.
Disable surround effect settings on this
unit.
Keep the listening room as quiet as
possible.
Try manual adjustment.
Set REFLECTING to HI ECHO.
The remote control will function within a
maximum range of 6 m and no more than
30 degrees off-axis from the front panel.
