COMPUTER OPERATION MANUAL
QUICK START
Start exercising.
The computer will automatically turn on in manual mode and display all relevant function values. To pause during exercise,
press START/STOP (STOP will then appear on the screen). To resume exercising, press START/STOP again.
SELECTING EXERCISE MODE
Turn on the computer by simply pressing MODE. With UP, you can now choose one of three exercise modes: MANUAL (manual,
as described above), INTERVAL (interval), or TARGET (target exercise). Press MODE again to select the exercise with that mode.
MEASURING HEART RATE RECOVERY
This special function allows you to determine the heart rate recovery level after training, indicating the user's sports and phys-
ical condition. The better the heart rate recovery level (i.e., the faster the heart rate returns to the normal pulse frequency), the
better the athlete's condition.
When you finish exercising, keep the chest strap on your chest. Press the RECOVERY button. Wait for 60 seconds while the
computer continues to measure your heart rate. When the time is up, the computer displays an estimated heart rate recovery
speed on a scale of 1.0 F1 to 6.0 F6, where F1 is very good and F6 = insufficient. Improve the recovery rate with regular training
to reach F1!
Use of this function requires the use of a compatible heart rate chest strap.
The device offers 3 different interval training modes. After confirming INTERVAL with MODE, you can choose between
10/2020/10, or customize your own.
• 10/20: 8 rounds, 10 seconds training (rowing time), 20 seconds rest
• 20/10: 8 rounds, 20 seconds training (rowing time), 10 seconds rest
• INTERVAL CUSTOM - personalized setting of the number of rounds, training time, and rest time.
After choosing the appropriate mode and pressing MODE, the computer displays READY and counts down 3 seconds to the
start of training. Then the interval training begins. During breaks, the computer beeps every second, and REST TIME xx/xx is
displayed. During workouts, WORK xx/xx is displayed. At the end of the exercise, STOP is displayed, and the computer beeps
three times. To exit the current mode prematurely, press START/STOP and then RESET.
This will bring you to standby mode. Now press MODE to select a new exercise mode with UP.
In this mode, you can enter a target value. Press MODE to confirm the mode selection and then use UP to select any functional
value (you can only select one value for the target at a time).
Press MODE and enter the desired value with UP and MODE. This stated value must now be reached in the next exercise
(countdown of time, distance, calories, and rowing strokes follows: if the value is 0, the exercise is completed). If you have set
a heart rate (possible only when using a chest strap), the computer will beep every second if you exceed the specified heart
rate value during exercise.
At the end of the exercise, STOP is displayed, and the computer beeps three times. To exit the mode prematurely, press START/
STOP and then RESET. This will bring you to standby mode (Standby). Now press MODE to select a new exercise mode with
UP.
