Device damage
Before starting up, check the dry filter basket for dam-
age, and replace it if necessary. Only vacuum with the
dry filter basket.
Depending on the equipment variant, the dry filter bas-
ket is included.
ATTENTION
Do not vacuum wet dirt.
Curved valve pipe
Suction power is reduced by moving the adjustment ring
on the curved valve pipe to expose a hole.

Dry filter basket
Note
It is recommended that the filter is cleaned once or twice
a year to ensure optimum the suction power.
Blower function
The blower function can be used to clean areas that are
difficult to reach or where vacuuming is not possible,
e.g. leaves in a gravel bed.
Insert the suction hose into the blower connection.
The blower function is now activated.

1. Set the trigger to "0 (OFF)".

Failure to observe the weight

Be aware of the weight of the device during transporta-
tion.
1. Carry the device by the carrying handle.
2. When transporting the device in vehicles, secure it
to prevent it from slipping or overturning in accord-
ance with the relevant valid guidelines.

● Store the appliance in a dry room.
● Consider the weight of the appliance when storing it.
1. Store the suction hose in the container. The suction
pipes, floor nozzle, crevice nozzle, upholstery noz-
zle and the power cable are shown in the following
illustration.

Care and maintenance
Before doing any work on the appliance:
1. Switch off the appliance.
2. Unplug the power cable.
General care instructions
Clean the device and plastic accessory parts with a
commonly available plastic cleaner.
Rinse the container and accessories with water, as
necessary, and dry them before further use.
Clean the dry filter basket
WARNING
Avoid washing in boiling water and in a washing ma-
chine.
Avoid drying over a fire, in hot sunlight or in a tumble
dryer.
Do not use it when it is wet. It may damage the motor.
Do not hit the filter on the floor, it will damage the filter.

Troubleshooting guide
Malfunctions often have simple causes that you can
remedy yourself using the following overview. When in
doubt, or in the case of malfunctions not mentioned
here, please contact your authorised Customer Service.
Accessories, the suction hose or the suction pipes are
clogged.
Remove the clog with a suitable aid.
The dry filter basket is full.
Replace the dry filter basket .
The dry filter basket is dirty.
Clean the dry filter basket (see Chapter Clean the
dry filter basket.)
The dry filter basket is damaged.
Replace the dry filter basket.
