3. Product introduction
The CIM module enables cellular data transmission
based on LTE-M technology between the Grundfos
iSOLUTIONS cloud and a Grundfos host product with
a CIM GENIbus interface slot, or with a connected
Modbus RTU slave device that is supported by the
Grundfos iSOLUTIONS cloud.
The Grundfos iSOLUTIONS Cloud requires a
subscription.
The CIM 290 module can be bought separately and
must be fitted in a CIU unit or in another host product
to enable cellular communication.
In this document, "Grundfos product" refers to one or
more Grundfos products, depending on the actual
application.
