6.2. Charging the battery pack
The robot vacuum and mop is fitted with a lithium-ion battery pack. After unpack-
ing the appliance, first charge the battery pack for approx. 5 hours.
This benefits battery performance in the long run.
 Press the start/pause button on the appliance for approx. 5 seconds to switch on
the robot vacuum and mop. You will hear a tune.
 Place the robot vacuum and mop on the charging station so that the charging
contacts are on top of each other. You will hear the announcement CHARGING.
The appliance is being charged, the operating LED pulses white and the indicator
light on the charging station goes out. When the battery block is fully charged, the
operating LED lights up white continuously. Charge the battery pack before the
next cleaning operation.
The robot vacuum and mop automatically returns to the self-empty base when the
remaining battery charge is less than 15%. This return to the self-empty base/charg-
ing station interrupts the cleaning process.
The battery is a consumable. After a certain number of charging cycles,
the charging capacity decreases. If battery performance is drastically re-
duced, contact the MEDION Service Centre.
7. Vacuum cleaning mode
Ensure that delicate objects (e.g. glass, lamps, vases) and movable objects such as
cables, clothing, newspapers and curtains are removed from the work area. They
could get caught in the brushes or be sucked up.

Risk of damage to property!
Loose cabling can get caught around your robot vac-
uum and mop during vacuum cleaning and be pulled
along by the appliance. This can result in appliances be-
ing pulled off a table and consequently damaged.
 Lay cables out of the reach of the device.
 Make sure that the dust container is clean and empty and that the filter is insert-
ed correctly.
 Place the robot vacuum and mop on its charging station.
