11.3. Cleaning the side brush
We also recommend that the side brushes are cleaned regularly. To do so, please
carry out the following steps:
Switch off the appliance and place it upside down onto a flat surface with the
bottom of the appliance facing upwards.
Clean the brushes to remove dirt and hair.
Remove stubborn dirt from the brush using a damp
cloth.
If hair or other dirt has wrapped too much around the
side brushes or the respective holder, you can also re-
move the side brush and therefore clean it better.
Pull the brush upwards and off.
After cleaning, reattach the brush by placing it vertically on the drive shaft and
pressing until a slight click indicates that it locked into place properly.
We recommend replacing the brushes at intervals of 3–6 months depending
on the degree of wear in order to guarantee the full vacuum power of the ro-
bot vacuum and mop. For accessories, please contact the Service. Centre.
If the bristles become bent, place the brushes in hot water so that the
bristles return to their original shape.
