the fully closed position at the full steering posi-
tion on the left and right sides.
2. Measure its free travel at the
throttle control grip flange. The
standard free travel should be
10°-15°.
The motorcycle is equipped with
accelerator cable with a two-line
structure, the throttle cable (A) is
for stepping on the accelerator;
and the throttle cable (B) is for
returning the accelerator. Please
follow the steps below to adjust the free stroke of
accelerator grip:
• Remove the dust cover of accelerator cable.
• Loosen the lock nut 3.
• Fully screw in the adjusting nut 4.
• Loosen the lock nut 1.
• Rotate the adjusting nut 2 so as to control the
free stroke of accelerator control grip within 10°-
15°.
• Tighten the lock nut 1.
• Adjust the nut 4 to make the accelerator grip
rotate flexibly:
• Tighten the lock nut 3.
Clutch adjustment
The free travel of clutch should
be 10-20mm which is deter-
mined based on the end posi-
tion of clutch grip before loos-
ening it If the free travel is
found to be abnormal, adjust
at the handle side of clutch
cable in the following way:
• Remove the dust cover of
clutch cable.
• Loosen the lock nut 1.
• Screw in or out the adjusting screw 2 to make the
free travel of clutch reach the specified requirements.
• Tighten the lock nut 1.
If the handle end of clutch cable
can not meet the requirements
o f f r e e t r a v e l a ft e r b e i n g
adjusted to the limit position,
then adjust the lock nut 1 and
adjustment nut 2 at the end of
cable and engine.
