Filtering fat or oil
i Always disconnect the equipment from the power supply before filtering the fat or oil!
i Always let the deep fryer and the fat or oil inside the container cool down completely before
filtering the fat or oil.
i Clean the fryer daily. Filter the fat or oil twice a day, once after lunch time, and again at the end of
the day.
PF 6 AND 6+6 MODELS (WITHOUT TAP)
4.6.1.
1. Switch off the equipment and disconnect it from the power supply.
2. Make sure the fat or oil are cold.
3. Place a recipient for the used fat or oil next to the deep fryer.
4. Take off the headpiece of the deep fryer by unfastening the fixing elements on the back of the
equipment
5. Carefully incline the equipment's body with the vat over the recipient, emptying the vat of fat or oil
6. Use a metallic brush to take out all residues and leftovers from the walls and the bottom of the vat
7. After having cleaned the vat from leftovers, wipe the vat with a soft cloth
8. Remount the headpiece onto the body of the deep fryer and fasten the fixing elements.
PF 10 AND PF 10+10 , PF 10 TR , PF 10+10 TR
4.6.2.
1. Switch off the equipment and disconnect it from the power supply.
2. Place a recipient with a filter under the tap of the vat.
3. Take off the headpiece of the deep fryer by unfastening the fixing elements on the back of the
equipment
4. Open the tap, turning and pressing its handle, letting the oil or fat run out of the tap
5. Use a metallic brush to take out all residues and leftovers from the walls and the bottom of the vat
6. After having cleaned the vat from leftovers, wipe the vat with a soft cloth
7. Close the tap and fill the vat with fresh oil or fat.
8. Remount the headpiece onto the body of the deep fryer and fasten the fixing elements.
5. Cleaning
i Always disconnect the equipment from the power supply before proceeding to any cleaning
intervention.
i Never immerse the headpiece in water
i Always let the deep fryer and the fat or oil in the container cool down completely before cleaning.
i Do not use jets of water to clean the equipment. Do not pour water onto the equipment or onto
any of its attached components.
i Do not use solvent, abrasive or acid detergents on the equipment!
i Clean the fryer daily.
1. Disconnect the equipment from the power supply.
2. Make sure the fat or oil are cold.
3. Take off the deep fryer's head piece and take out the fat, following the instructions for filtering.
Never immerse the headpiece in water. Instead, clean it with a soft cloth and liquid detergent.
4. Clean the equipment's exterior with a soft humid cloth and some mild detergent.
5. Wash the basket, the protection grid for the heating elements and the container in water.
