REPLACING THE BATTERIES

Change the batteries when the LCD screen indicates
•
To change the batteries, disconnect all leads, switch the calibrator off, unscrew
the battery compartment cover, and replace all of the batteries with new 1.5V AAA
batteries.
8.4
REPLACING A FUSE
To avoid injuring a person or damaging the calibrator, use only fast-
blow 0.125 A, 250 V fuses.
Fuse 1 has probably blown if:
In the voltage output mode, with the test leads disconnected from the
calibrator, OL flashes on the screen.
Fuse 2 has probably blown if:
In the current input mode, the calibrator always displays 0.000, even when
a signal is applied.
8.5
METROLOGICAL CHECK
Like all measuring or testing devices, the instrument must be
checked regularly.
This instrument should be checked at least once a year. For checks and
calibrations, contact one of our accredited metrology laboratories (information and
contact details available on request), at our Chauvin-Arnoux subsidiary or the
branch in your country.
8.6
REPAIR
For all repairs before or after expiry of warranty, please return the device to your
distributor.
