HF ignition operation:
If HF mode is enabled in TIG mode, you can start the arc without touching the material to be welded with the electrode.
This will prevent the electrode becoming contaminated and give it a longer life.
However, we recommend that the nozzle should be in contact with the workpiece to facilitate striking of the arc.
Lift Arc Ignition Operation:
If the HF mode is not enabled in TIG mode, to start the arc press the electrode lightly against the workpiece (1). Press
the torch button and wait from 1 to 2 seconds (the shielding gas will start flowing and the tungsten electrode will heat
up slightly to allow the ignition of the arc (2)). Slowly, raise the electrode from the workpiece by rotating the torch, so
that the nozzle will remain in contact with the workpiece (3). The arc will start and the amperage will increase to the pre-
set level (4).
G - MEMORIES
LOAD key. Load a memory program
When you press this key, the machine enters programming mode to load a specific setting of operating parameters.
The machine then displays a number on the screen in the PROGRAM section. This number indicates the number of
the program to be loaded and its value is between 0 and 9. The top screen displays the message LOA.
Turn the selector until the display shows the desired program number.
To start loading, press the LOAD button or the main control and the program number will flash. When the number re-
mains permanently lit, the program loading process is complete (setting all operating parameters according to the value
stored in memory for the selected position).
If you press the SAVE key, the process is aborted.
SAVE key - Save a program in memory
When you press this key, the machine enters programming mode to save a specific setting of operating parameters.
Then, the machine displays a number on the screen in the PROGRAM section. This number indicates the number of
the program that is going to be saved and its value is between 0 and 9 (the current setting will flash).

ATTENTION
Do NOT strike like a match!
The machine automatically stores the last values used. This allows the user to recover
the operating parameters quickly and easily when starting the machine.
In addition, depending on the version, the machine can have up to 10 settings in me-
mory. The type of memory used is permanent and does not dependent on any backup
battery. The setting of operating programmes is done from the programming area of the
memory area of the control panel.
The program number is displayed while no change is made in the operating parameters.
In this way, the user can know at any time if settings used correspond to which particu-
lar memory location.
