Correctly identify each pole section. Measure and mark
5-1/2" (13.9 cm) from top of bottom pole (3).

Make sure ground is level with playing surface, then dig pole hole. (SEE FIGURES A & B) on page 9.
Note: Maximum distance from edge of hole to edge of playing surface should be 6" (15.2 cm).
Hole depth shown is the minimum allowed. Depending
on location, a deeper hole may be required. Consult
local building inspector and/or building codes for
depth of frost line. Please note a deeper hole requires
additional concrete.
