2.3 Transport / Storage
Check the delivery immediately after receipt for possible transport damage. If you do not
immediately assemble the product, it is best to leave it in the transport packaging.
It must be stored in an area that is dry, dust-free, and in accordance with the technical data.
See chapter Technical Data [} 45].
2.4 Use According to the Intended Purpose
The LES02 measuring system is used to reliably determine the absolute position of elevator
cabs. The measuring system should be used as a position sensor.
The measuring system LES02 is not able to achieve on its own a safe state in the safety
function.
Positions and standstill, as well as failures, that may represent a danger must be detected by a
superordinate safe evaluation unit, see chapter Functional Safety [} 44].
