• Check the coded band and the sensor for dirt, damages and foreign bodies.
• Use a dry lint-free cloth for cleaning, do not use detergents.
– Clean the sensor to remove heavy dust accumulation.
– Remove dirt from the coded band during the inspection run.
6.5 Disassembly
To disassemble the product, follow the installation steps in the reverse order; see chapter
Installation [} 53].
6.6 Reassembly
Reinstallation of the product is permitted only under the following conditions:
• The product is undamaged.
• The screws can be newly secured against loosening.
• All safety information in the Installation [} 53] chapter has been observed.
• All installation steps in the Installation [} 53] chapter have been implemented.
7 Disposal
Dispose of all unusable or irreparable products in an environmentally sensitive manner, in
accordance with country-specific requirements and valid waste disposal regulations. We would
be more than happy to assist you in product disposal.

NOTICE
Dispose of disassembled product parts as follows:
• Metal components with scrap metal
• Electronic components with electronic waste
• Plastic parts to the recycling center
• Sort and dispose of other components according to their material properties

Electrical waste, electronic components, lubricants and other
auxiliary materials are subject to hazardous waste treatment.
Problem substances may only be disposed of by licensed specialist
companies.
