AP 1600D / AP 3000D: Set the valve in the correct position. Press the bracket to switch on the
pump. Release the bracket to stop the pump.
AP 8000D: Set the valve in the correct position. Open the ball valve to switch on the pump.
Close the ball valve to stop the pump.
3.4 Assembly and use of pump sets (1600S only)
Pump sets consist of a pump, hydraulic hose, T-piece, manometer and the necessary quick
couplings. It is important that all quick-release couplings are properly twisted on. Quick-
release couplings must be twisted on by hand in order to prevent damage occurring.
Safety must be reassessed for every application! It is not permitted to use cylinders or
hydraulic tools in operations that are dangerous for people and/or equipment. The condition
of the tools must always be checked before carrying out any operation. Check the hydraulic
hoses before each use.

Applicable to AP921, AP1600S, AP3000S.
Press the foot pedal at the red arrow for the unit to start
pumping. To stop the pump, release the pedal. The system
pressure is maintained. Press the pedal halfway down at
the yellow arrow to depressurize the system. The cylinder
ceases its return as soon as the pedal is released. (AP1600/
AP3000) If the pedal is depressed completely at the yellow
arrow, the pedal sticks and the system is depressurized.
Applicable to AP8000S.
"RET" is open, "ADV" is closed.
To switch on the pump, turn the ball valve a quarter of a
rotation. To stop the pump, close the ball valve. As long as
the lever is on "ADV", the system is under pressure. Turning
the lever to "RET" will depressurize the system.
Double-action models:
Applicable to AP1600D, AP3000D, AP8000D, AP13D, AP18D
The lever indicates which port is under pressure. The non-
operated port is the non-pressurized return port.
