possible to set this mode in OFF, which does not mean
completely disabling the function, but makes it possible to
raise or lower the tripping sensitivity of the protection. By
raising the percentage, the machine stops cutting before
the standard condition, by lowering the percentage the
machine will be able to continue cutting for longer than the
standard amount of time.
When the power source reaches the automatic or required
parts finishing threshold it will stop and the following screen
will appear:
Then, wait for post gas to finish, turn the power source off
and replace the finished parts to start cutting again.
To exit the menu without making any selection, position the
cursor on the arrow on the bottom right and press knob S1
(Pict.1), to confirm exiting.
2.2.2 Automatic cutting gas adjustment (only for
art.461)
By selecting this icon, it is possible to enter the menu
pertaining to automatic cutting gas pressure adjustment.
The factory default mode is AUTO ON which allows the
power source to maintain the torch's work pressure at the
best value, also in the presence of variations of the inlet
pressure.
In fact, this automatically-set system eliminates any need to
adjust the pressure. The power source sets the correct
value based on the mounted torch and the selected
processing.
To exit the menu without making any selection, position the
cursor on the arrow on the bottom right and press knob S1
(Pict.1), to confirm exiting.
With the function on ON, the display appears as follows:
If the inlet pressure is too low to reach the optimal cutting
value, but is nevertheless sufficient for the selected
process, the machine displays the word LOW with an arrow
pointing downwards
If the outlet pressure is too high in relation to the optimal
value, but is nevertheless within the operating limits, the
machine displays the word HIGH with an arrow pointing
upwards and the screen will look like this:
It is nevertheless possible to set the function on OFF, so as
to read and adjust the torch's work pressure to the required
value (within the pre-set limits) directly from the main panel
which will appear as follows:
2.2.3 Automatic pilot arc length adjustment (only for
art.461)
By selecting this icon, it is possible to enter the menu
pertaining to automatic pilot arc length adjustment.
The factory default mode is AUTO ON which allows the
power source to automatically and synergically adjust the
length of the pilot arc based on the mounted torch, the
installed consumables and the selected processing
procedure. It is nevertheless possible to set this function on
OFF so as to be able to manually adjust pilot arc length.
Consumables last longer by lowering the length, but arc
transfer complications may occur. On the other hand, by
raising the value it is possible to transfer the arc in difficult
conditions (ex. in tight and hard-to-reach corners), but the
consumables will last less.
To exit the menu without making any selection, position the
cursor on the arrow on the bottom right and press knob S1
(Pict.1), to confirm exiting.
