Clean the external surfaces
of the product.
Clean the cold air intake.
Clean the spark plug.
Clean the fuel tank.
Do a general inspection.
Examine the throttle lock-
out*.
Do a check of the stop
switch*.
Do a check for fuel leaks.
Do a check of the vibration
damping system*.
Examine the muffler*.
Examine the carburetor.
Examine the starter hous-
ing.
Examine the fuel system.
Examine the air filter.
Examine the drive gear and
the clutch.
To clean externally
•
Flush the product externally with clean water after
each day of operation. If it is necessary, use a brush.
To clean the cold air intake
Note: A dirty or blocked air intake makes the product too
hot. This can cause damage to the piston and cylinder.
