ii Handling, unpacking and contents.
Handling.
The wheel balancer is supplied on a pallet.
• Use a pallet truck (Figure ii-1) to bring the wheel
balancer to its working area.
Unpacking.
WARNING: PREVENT THE STRAPS FROM
SPRINGING LOOSE AFTER BEING CUT.
• Cut the straps.
• Open the top of the box.
• Remove staples at the bottom of the box. Lift the
box up and over the unit.
• Carefully unwrap the balancer and supplied parts.
• Check the contents of the shipment.
Contents.
The shipment contains:
-
a wheel balancer
-
a Declaration of Conformity (CE)
-
the accessories as mentioned in Chapter 3
of the Operator's Manual.
-
4 storage hooks and flanges
Handspin balancer only:
a transformer
Motor driven balancers only:
a mains cable
a wheelguard assembly
2 bolts and nuts, fitted on the wheelguard shaft.
Tools required.
-
screwdriver / bar (diameter 4.5-5 mm)
-
keys: 13, 17 mm
Positioning.
• Remove the bolts that secure the wheel balancer
on the pallet.
CAUTION: DO NOT LIFT OR MOVE THE WHEEL
BALANCER BY THE MAIN SHAFT OR
MEASURING HEAD.
• Refer to Figure ii-2. Move the wheel balancer from
the pallet to its working location.
Note:
Favorably use the storage hooks (mount
as instructed in Chapter iii) and/or
wheelguard shaft (if present) to handle
the wheel balancer.
Appendix

ii Manipulación, desembalaje y contenido.
Manipulación.
La unidad se suministra en palet.
• Utilice una carretilla de palets (Figura ii-1) para
trasladar la unidad a su zona de trabajo.
Desembalaje.
AVISO: DESPUÉS DE CORTADAS, EVITE QUE LAS
TIRAS QUEDEN SUELTAS.
• Corte las tiras.
• Abra la parte de arriba de la caja.
• Retire las grapas del fondo de la caja. Levante la
caja por encima de la unidad.
• Desenvuelva, con cuidado, la equilibradora y las
piezas suminisradas.
• Compruebe el contenido del envío.
Contenido.
En el envío se incluye:
-
una equilibradora
-
una Declaración de Conformidad (CE)
-
los accesorios mencionados en el Capítulo
3 del Manual del Operador.
-
4 ganchos y pestañas de almacenamiento
Solamente equilibradora de giro manual:
un transformador
Solamente equilibradoras accionadas por motor:
un cable de red eléctrica
un conjunto de protector de rueda
2 pernos y tuercas, ajustados al eje del protector
de la rueda.
Herramientas necesarias.
-
destornillador / barra (diámetro 4.5-5 mm)
-
llaves: 13, 17 mm
Colocación.
• Retire los pernos que sujetan la equilibradora al
palet.
PRECAUCIÓN: NO LEVANTE NI MUEVA LA
EQUILIBRADORA POR EL EJE PRINCIPAL O EL
CABEZAL DE MEDICIÓN.
• Consultar la Figura ii-2. Desplace la equilibradora
desde el palet a su sitio de trabajo.
Nota:
Preferentemente utilice los ganchos de
almacenamiento (monte tal y como se
indica en el Capítulo iii) y/o el eje del
protector de rueda (si está presente) para
manejar la unidad.
