Operation
The unit will calculate the weights that must be applied
to position S1 and S2.
• Slowly rotate the wheel by hand to a weight
application position, refer to Figure 5.4.2-5.
• Apply the weight with the gauge arm.
• Slowly rotate the wheel by hand again until the WAP
indicator goes off and on again.
• Apply the weight with the gauge arm.
• Select return to exit this mode.
Selecting return several times (depending on the
stage of the program) forces the program to quit.
The original right plane weight value will be shown
again. The SWM indicator will go off, a short beep
will be heard.
The program returns to the main menu.
5.4.3
Minimization mode.
Select this mode if a wheel requires a weight of 80 grams
or more in a plane in order to be balanced.
• Ensure the wheel is properly mounted.
• HWM weight modes can not be minimized. The
wheel should be stated to the unit as a NORMAL
wheel.
• Enter the correct rim data.
• Select the *-key until the Minimization indicator
blinks.
The "M" indicator will start blinking.
The display now equals Figure 5.4.3-1.
Note:
The *-indicator will be on and the
Minimization indicator will blink. If the
Minimization indicator does not blink,
check if a NORMAL wheel is selected.
• Select return.
To exit the Minimization mode, select:
*-key
all minimization data are stored into memory. The
operator can select Minimization again to proceed
with the next step.
Note:
Use the *-key to allow e.g. another wheel
being balanced, while the tyre and the rim
of the wheel to be minimized are being
aligned (as in step 3 or 6).

Compruebe la rotación de la rueda.
S2 aparecerá en la pantalla, ver Figura 5.4.2-4.
• Repita paso anterior para S2.
Si la posición es correcta, se oirá un bip corto.
La unidad calculará los pesos que se deben de aplicar
en la posición S1 y S2.
• Gire la rueda despacio, a mano, hasta la posición
de aplicación del peso, ver Figura 5.4.2-5.
• Aplique el peso con el brazo de medición.
• Gire la rueda despacio, a mano, hasta que el
indicador WAP se apague y se vuelva a encender.
• Aplique el peso con un brazo de medición.
• Seleccione regreso para salir de este modo.
Al seleccionar retorno varias veces (dependiendo
de la fase del programa) el programa salta. El valor
original del peso del plano derecho se volverá a
ver. El indicador SWM se apagará, se oirá un bip
corto.
El programa regresa al menú principal.
5.4.3
Modo minimización.
Seleccione este modo si la rueda necesita un peso de
80 gramos o más en un plano para ser equilibrada.
• Asegúrese de montar la rueda adecuadamente.
• Los tipos de rueda HWM no se pueden minimizar.
Se deberá introducir la información de la rueda en
la unidad como rueda NORMAL.
• Introduzca los datos de la llanta correctos.
• Seleccione la tecla *-hasta que el indicador de
Minimización parpadee.
El indicador "M" empezará a parpadear.
Ahora, la pantalla es igual a la Figura 5.4.3-1.
Nota:
El indicador *- estará encendido y el de
Minimización parpadeará. Si el indicador de
Minimización no parpadea, compruebe si ha
seleccionado una rueda NORMAL.
• Seleccionar regreso.
Para salir del modo Minimización, seleccione:
tecla *-
todos los datos de minimización se guardan en
memoria. El operador puede volver a seleccionar
Minimización para proceder con el siguiente paso.
Nota:
Utilice la tecla *- permitir, p.ej. equilibrar
otra rueda mientras se alinean el
neumático y la llanta de la rueda a
minimizar (como paso 3 o 6).
