5.2
Preparation.
• The operator should be familiar with the warnings
and cautions
• The operator should be qualified to work with the
unit.
• Always make sure that the wheel guard (when fitted)
is raised and the gauge arm is in the idle position
(on the far left) when the unit is turned OFF.
5.2.1
Power up.
• Do not keep any key pressed!
See Figure 5.2.1-1.
• Plug the mains cable plug into the power outlet.
• Turn the switch next to the "I" position socket ON.
Note:
If the unit beeps and does not proceed or
if a system code is shown, see Chapter 7.
The unit will beep and perform a self check now.
All the indicators and displays will come on for a few
seconds so that the operator can check that they
are all working correctly.
Then the ignition indicator, the display and the weight
position in relation to wheel current type (default)
indicators will come on.
See Figure 5.2.1-2 for an example.
The unit is now ready to receive input.
5.2.2
Emergency stop.
See Figure 5.2.2-1.
To perform an emergency stop:
• Select the STOP key to apply the electronic brake.
• Apply the foot brake to stop the wheel.
When the emergency stop was made, due to an
unexpected action of the unit, rethink the steps that
were made:
Did the operator make an error or mistake?
Correct the input and proceed working. No special
procedure is to be followed.
Did the unit do something unexpected?
• Read the relevant chapters again.
• Prepare the unit for a restart:
switch off the unit
wait a few seconds
switch on the unit.
• Carefully repeat the commands with the manual at
hand.
• Call service immediately if the unit malfunctions
again and:
CAUTION: PREVENT ANY FURTHER USE OF THE
UNIT.

Preparación.
• El operador debe estar familiarizado con las
advertencias y precauciones.
• El operador debe estar calificado para trabajar con
la unidad.
• Asegúrese siempre de que la protección de la rueda
(cuando sea posible aplicarla) se haya retirado y
de que el brazo de medición esté en la posición
inicial (extremo izquierdo) cuando la unidad está
apagada.
5.2.1
Arranque.
• No pulse ninguna tecla durante el arranque
Consultar Figura 5.2.1-1.
• Enchufe el cable de la red eléctrica a la toma de
corriente.
• Coloque el interruptor que se encuentra cerca de la
toma en la posición "I".
Nota:
Si la unidad emite un bip o no arranca o si
aparece un código de error, consultar
Capítulo 7.
En este momento, la unidad emitirá un bip y hará un
auto chequeo.
Aparecerán durante algunos segundos todos los
indicadores luminosos y todas las pantallas, de
modo que el operador pueda verificar que funcionan.
A continuación, se visualizarán los indicadores de
arranque, las pantallas y los indicadores de la posición
de los pesos en relación al tipo corriente de rueda (por
defecto).

La unidad está lista para recibir datos de entrada.
5.2.2
Parada de emergencia.
Ver Figura 5.2.2-1.
ma:Para realizar una parada de emergencia:
• Seleccione la tecla STOP para activar el freno
electrónico.
• Presionar el pedal del freno para parar la rueda.
Una vez realizada la parada de emergencia, debida a
una acción inesperada de la unidad, memorice los
pasos que ha dado:
¿Cometió el operador algún error o fallo?
Corrija la entrada de datos y siga trabajando. No
tiene que seguir ningún proceso especial.
¿Hizo la unidad algo inesperado?
• Lea de nuevo los capítulos relevantes.
• Prepare la unidad para volver a ponerla en marcha:
apague la unidad espere unos segundos vuelva
a encender la unidad
• Repita cuidadosamente las instrucciones con el
manual a mano.
