5.4.2
Split Weight Mode (SWM).
Selecting is possible only after balancing a HWM wheel
that has an imbalance ≥ 10 gram in the right plane.
Note:
The "fine" read-out accuracy is not available
with this mode.
Select this mode to "hide" the right plane weight behind
the two spokes that are nearest to the calculated weight
application position. That way, the weights are not visible
from "outside".
Take into account the following limitations (refer to Figure
5.4.2-1):
-
the whole enclosed angle is limited to 120°.
-
both angles (from "visible weight position" to either
"hidden weight position") must be bigger than 0°.
• Apply the weight in the left plane of an HWM wheel.
• DO NOT apply the weight in the right side plane, but
select the *-key.
The display now equals Figure 5.4.2-2 (Figure 5.4.2-2
b, for b9450 without WG) (the weight position and HWM
indicators depend on the HWM mode selected).
Note:
The * indicator will be on and the SWM
indicator will blink. If the SWM indicator
does not blink, check if the unit is in HWM
mode.
• Select return to run this mode.
Note:
The * indicator goes off, a short beep will
be heard and the SWM indicator will light.
The SWM mode is now actived.
The 2 weight positions (S(poke)1 and S2) in the right
side plane are to be stated to the unit.
The left plane display will not change during the following
steps.
Note:
The offset and diameter dimensions were
already entered during the HWM rim
dimension input.
During data entry and weight application, the right hand
display shows "S1" (Spoke 1, weight position 1) or "S2"
(Spoke 2, weight position 2) as long as S1 or S2 are
within the specified rotational angles. Else "S - -" will be
shown.
S1 will appear on the display, refer to Figure 5.4.2-3.
• Rotate the wheel until a spoke is at 12 o'clock
position and select return.
If the position is legal (within the specified angle) a short
beep will be heard.
If an illegal position of the wheel is created and return
is selected, a long beep will be heard.
Check the rotational position of the wheel.
S2 will appear on the display, refer to Figure 5.4.1-4.
• Repeat previous step for S2.
If the position is legal, a short beep will be heard.

Modo Peso Repartido.
Solamente es posible seleccionar después de equilibrar
una rueda HWM con un desequilibrio ≥ 10 gram en el
plano derecho.
Nota:
La precisión del cálculo "fine" no está
disponible en este modo.
Seleccione este modo para "esconder" el peso del
plano derecho detrás de los dos rayos más cercanos
a la posición de aplicación del peso calculado. De esa
forma, los pesos no se ven desde "afuera":
Tenga en cuenta las siguientes limitaciones (ver Figura
5.4.2-1):
-
el límite del ángulo endosado es de 120°.
-
ambos ángulos (desde la "posición de peso visible"
hasta las dos "posiciones de peso escondidas")
deben ser mayores que 0°.
• Ponga el peso en el plano izquierdo de una rueda
HWM.
• NO aplique el peso en el plano derecho sino que
seleccione la tecla *-.
La pantalla ahora es igual a la Figura 5.4.2-2 (Figura
5.4.2-2 bis, para b9450 sin WG) (la posición de peso y
los indicadores HWM dependen del modo HWM
seleccionado).
Nota:
El indicador * estará encendido y el
indicador SWM parpadeará. Si el
indicador SWM no parpadea, compruebe
si la unidad está en el modo HWM.
• Seleccione regresar para realizar este modo.
Nota:
El indicador * se apaga, se oirá un bip
corto y el indicador SWM se encenderá.
El modo SWM ahora está activado.
Las posiciones de los 2 pesos S1 y S2) en el plano
derecho deben ser establecidos por la unidad.
La pantalla del plano izquierdo no cambiará durante
los siguientes pasos:
Nota:
Las dimensiones de desequilibrio y
diámetro ya se habían introducido durante
la entrada de dimensión de la llanta HWM.
Durante la entrada de datos y la aplicación de peso, la
pantalla de la derecha indica "S1" (Posición del peso
Rayo 1, es decir Spoke 1, posición peso 1) o "S2" (Rayo
2, Spoke 2, posición peso 2) siempre y cuando S1 o
S2 estén dentro de los ángulos de rotación
especificados. De los contrario se indicarán otras "S - -"
S1 aparecerá en la pantalla, ver Figura 5.4.2-3.
• Gire la rueda hasta que el rayo esté en la posición
de las 12.00 horas y seleccione regresar.
Si la posición es correcta (dentro del ángulo
especificado) se oirá un bip corto.
Si se crea una posición incorrecta de la rueda y se
selecciona regresar, se oirá un bip largo.
