The housing (5) is attached to the actuating side of the cylinder (9). The
housing(5) consists of the slide (7) with the cutter (6) and the
counter support (3).
Upon activating the wire cutter, the cylinder (9) actuates the slide (7), moving
it forward. At the same time, the counter support (3) clamps the free wire end
at the fixed jaws (4) by spring force and the cutter (6) on the slide (7)
completes the cylinder stroke and cuts off the wire. The optional switching
element with LED display (8) and torch clamp (1) monitor the position of the
pneumatic cylinder.
At an operating pressure of at least 5 bar, the cylinder (9) is set in the
pneumatic end positions. Signal evaluation takes place in a higher-level safety
circuit.
