Danger!
Using your Otto Bock Product as a Seat for Transportation in Motor Vehicles for Disabled
Passengers
We recommend that, wherever and whenever possible, users of a wheelchair, mobility base
with seating shell or buggy transfer to the seats installed in the motor vehicle and use the
corresponding vehicle restraint systems, because this is the only way to ensure optimal pro-
tection of the passengers in case of an accident.
Your Otto Bock product Lisa is permissible for transporting passengers in motor vehicles
when using Otto Bock safety components as well as appropriate restraint systems. For more
information, please refer to our instructions for use manual "Using your wheelchair/ mobility
base with seating shell or buggy/stroller as a seat for transportation in motor vehicles",
order no. 646D158.
Attention!
The correct function of the rehab folding buggy/ stroller must be checked before each use.
Attention!
Use your rehab buggy/stroller properly. For instance, do not drive into obstacles (including
steps, curbs) without braking.
Attention!
The footplate must not be used as a stepstool to get in or out of the buggy/stroller.
Attention!
Tire pressures have a big effect on the ease of handling. Correctly inflated tires considerably
improve the maneuverability of your LISA.
The air pressure should be at least 2 bar (200 kPa).
Attention!
Observe the maximum load (body weight including any additional load) of the LISA.
Model 3213 = 50 kg (110 lbs) / model 3214 = 60 kg (182 lbs)
Attention!
For clearing obstacles such as steps and curbs, tilt the LISA onto the rear wheels (to ascend,
pull the Lisa backwards; to descend, slowly lower the Lisa forward).
Attention!
Lift the rehab folding buggy/stroller only by components which are firmly attached (by welding
or screw connection).
-Front frame tube above the front wheels
-Push handles
Note!
The rehab folding buggy/ stroller has been approved for the transport of only one child.
Note!
All accessories and add-on components will reduce the remaining maximum load capacity
