Faulty wiring
Faulty wiring can lead to malfunctions as well as damage to
the bus system.
Unless otherwise stipulated, comply with the installation

guidelines and wiring recommendations in the AS-i
specifications.
Only use cables that meet the field bus specifications as

well as the connection speed and length requirements.
In order to assure both the protection class and the

required strain relief, the cable and plug assembly

Connecting the bus coupler

Only use the provided plug connectors and an AS-i profile
cable to connect the modules.
Place the bus coupler connection (with the yellow AS-i
O
profile cable) on the PWR connection and tighten.
Observe the maximum power consumption in accordance
with the AS-i specifications.
